Photo Gallery | Photo Gallery: Norcross hosts the 5th Annual Gluten-Free Food Expo

Norcross - Created and coordinated by the GIG of Atlanta Board of Directors, the event was open to the public and welcomes familiar and newly introduced gluten-free community members.  The 2011 Atlanta Gluten-Free Expo was held at the Hilton Hotel, 5993 Peachtree Industrial Blvd., Norcross, Ga. 30092.  

Admission was $10 per adult, while kids 12 and under were free.

Sampling of gluten-free foods began at 10 a.m. and ended at 2 p.m. with guest speakers such as Rhonda Peters who did a Live Demo but also sold her new cookbook, So, What Can I Eat Now?!

2011 vendors from metro Atlanta included but are not limited to: American Gra-Frutti, Dr. Sweet’s Cake Emporium, Frannie’s Gluten Free, GalloLea Organics, and Maggiano’s Little Italy.   National vendors this year include: Amy’s Kitchen, Delight Gluten Free Magazine, General Mills, No ‘Nuttin Natural Foods, and Whole Foods Market.  A complete list of participating vendors can be found on their website.
