Powerball skyrockets to $203 million
ATLANTA -- Powerball is growing by leaps and bounds.
Saturday's jackpot has soared to an estimated $203 million after no one matched all the winning numbers in Wednesday's drawing.
One Georgia Lottery player in Tifton won $30,000 Wednesday. Three in Lilburn, Lithonia and McDonough, respectively, each won $10,000.
The Powerball jackpot has rolled 12 times since Kathy Scruggs of Lithonia won $25 million Sept. 14.
Powerball offers two payment options: the $203 million jackpot prize paid over 29 years in 30 graduated payments, or a cash option of approximately $123 million.
Tickets are $1 per play.
