Corp. Jake Smith says during the first robbery at an appliance store on November 30th, the suspect seemed regretful. During the most recent crime at a mobile phone store on January 10th, he got physical with the clerk.

"Comments he made to the clerk in the first case were apologetic," said Corp. Smith. "Then we've moved to him manhandling this clerk behind the counter."

Video surveillance from the phone store shows the suspect walk behind the counter brandishing a gun. He grabs the clerk by the arm and directs her to the cash drawer.

Police say the suspect has followed a pattern of entering his target business where he poses as a legitimate customer. He says as long as 20-minutes, then exits only to return a short time later to commit robbery.

The crimes are spread all over Gwinnett County, including robberies within the cities of Lawrenceville, Lilburn, and Norcross. Most of the suspect's targets have been mobile phone stores, but he's also hit two appliance stores, a tobacco shop, and a Days Inn.

Police describe the suspect as a Black male, light skin tone, 6' tall, 180 - 200 lbs. He has short black hair, a thin mustache, and a thin goatee. He usually wears a baseball cap, and has been seen driving a Silver Dodge Charger with a sun roof and chrome wheels.

Gwinnett Police ask anyone with information on this suspect to contact detectives at 770-513-5300. You can also contact Crime Stoppers at 404-557-TIPS (8477), or go to www.crimestoppersatlanta.org.
