Its the 6th Annual Gwinnett International Restaurant Week

The GCVB is pleased to announce that Monday, September 19-Thursday, September 22, 2011 will be the dates of the 2011 Gwinnett Restaurant Week. Now in its 6th year, this popular dining promotion features 20 participating restaurants, each of whom offers a three-course meal for just $21.21 (plus tax/gratuity). “Great meals and a great deal; that is kind of our motto for Gwinnett Restaurant Week,” explains Lisa Anders, GCVB Deputy Director. The restaurants have created delicious and creative Restaurant Week menus, where you can experience Gwinnett’s most popular restaurants at a substantial savings.

Anders is excited about this year’s mix of restaurants, noting that “the large majority of our restaurants are independent restaurants, and we worked very hard this year to expand the ethnic opportunities for diners. With 10 new restaurants on board for this year’s Restaurant Week, diners will have a bevy of ethnic and local favorites to choose from.

Most participating restaurants require reservations for Restaurant Week, and Anders suggests making them early to confirm space. “A number of our restaurants sell out each year, so the earlier the better for making reservations.”

Melting Pot Proprietor Layla Haddad Gunn explains, “We are always happy to be a part of Gwinnett Restaurant Week. It has been a boon for us to bring in new customers, as well as offer a great promotion to our loyal customers.”

Participating restaurants include:

•     Aqua Terra Bistro, Buford (American/Bistro)
