Lilburn - A bank robber was caught on tape as he demanded money from a bank teller at the RBC Bank on Lawrenceville Highway in Lilburn.

The Lilburn Police Dept. said that they received a call at 10:41 am.  The public announcement and the request for the public's help in solving this case is below:

 

On Friday, November 4, 2011 the Lilburn Police Department responded to a bank robbery at the Wells Fargo Bank located at 5505 Lawrenceville Highway in Lilburn, Georgia.  The Lilburn Police Department received the call at approximately 10:41 AM and officers arrived on scene at approximately 10:45 AM.  No one was injured and the suspect left the scene driving a grey extended cab, newer model, pickup truck. 

The suspect is a large frame dark skinned black male between 30 and 40 years of age, approximately 5’11” to 6’ tall.  He was wearing a brown leather jacket, black long sleeve shirt, dark pants and a black toboggan stocking cap.  Suspect left the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash traveling towards Tucker, GA. 

The suspect entered the bank at approximately 10:35 AM and produced a note to the teller demanding money.  The bank turned over the undisclosed amount of money along with a dye pack which did deploy the red dye as it is designed.  The suspect may have red dye stains on his person and may have possible injuries to his body from this deployment.
