LILBURN, Ga. -- The Lilburn Community Improvement District recently worked hard to beautify the Highway 29 corridor.
The CID initiated the installation of landscaping materials on eight highway medians between Ronald Reagan Parkway and the Lilburn post office.
More projects are currently in the works for Highway 29, according to CID executive director Gerald McDowell.
"The CID is planning to launch a new Highway 29 maintenance program to be fully implemented during the next months," McDowell said in a statement. "The CID is working with the city of Lilburn, Gwinnett County and our commercial property owners to begin routinely removing trash, cutting grass and improving the corridor's overall curb appeal."
