Suwanee --  (submitted by Gwinnett Braves)  As part of his farewell tour and ongoing relationship as an ambassador for the Atlanta Braves, Bobby Cox will complete his expedition to all of the Braves Minor League ballparks on Monday, July 18th, as he visits Coolray Field when the Gwinnett Braves host Bobby Cox Day.

The 7:05 p.m. affair will feature a Bobby Cox Figurine Giveaway courtesy of Coolray Heating and Cooling to the first 3,000 fans in the ballpark. A lucky few fans will also receive a “golden ticket” along with their figurine as they come through the gates for a chance to participate in a Meet and Greet with the all-time Braves great.

Fans will also get a chance to submit questions to the Gwinnett Braves Facebook page for a special, “Ask Bobby,” segment that will occur at some point in the Monday night game. Several questions will be chosen and asked live to Mr. Cox during an inning break within the game.

The July 18th game versus the Louisville Bats (Cincinnati Reds) will kick off with a first pitch by Mr. Cox. In addition, one lucky Gwinnett Braves Season Ticket Holder will win a chance to escort the retired Braves Manager to the field for his ceremonial pitch.

Fans can also sign a, “Thank You Bobby,” banner that will be presented to him during the game. Monday, July 18th, also marks another Kids Eat Free Night. All kids 12 and under in attendance will get a voucher for a free hot dog, chips and a soda with their game ticket.
